We leave the resorts in our air-conditioned bus after breakfast and first travel to the local town of Amlapura to visit the Royal Water Palace where we spend some time walking round the palace grounds and the Pagodas on the lake. We next go to the coastal village of Amed in the north of the island and take a drive along the spectacular coastline where we stop at a good restaurant for lunch. We continue back to Amlapura to visit Tirta Gangga the second Royal Palace gardens and fresh water swimming pools, built arround beautiful large ponds filled with carp. We return to the resorts in time for happy hour. Only AU$20pp (Min 4 pax) KUTA SHOPPING This day trip leaves Candi Dasa at 9.30am and returns from Kuta at 6pm. We stop in the heart of Kuta at Kuta Square where you are close to the major area of shops, bars, restaurants. Only AU$20pp (Min 4 pax) BEDUGUL, LAKE BERATAN & THE HORTICULTURAL GARDENS & UBUD We leave the resorts in our air-conditioned bus after breakfast and travel to the region of Bedugul around 3 hours drive through beautiful countryside and climb upwards into the mountain terrain to the heart of Bedugul. This area provides most of Bali’s vegetables as the climate are cool and ideal for growing. We first stop at the spectacular lake Beratan with its beautiful gardens and famous Temple in the Lake. We then move on to the Huge Horticultural gardens and drive round stopping at the famous Cactus Enclosure and the gardens with the waterfalls. We see so many species of flowers and trees in this garden paradise. We take lunch at a local resort in the mountains before returning to the resorts via UBUD the cultural centre of Bali, where we stop for a short break to visit. Only AU$30pp (Min 4 pax)

BOAT TRIP

TO LEMBONGAN ISLAND We take a boat and travel across the sea to the beautiful Lembongan Island. This is trip of around 45 minutes, and we arrive at Mushroom Beach where we can take the optional trip by local transport to visit the seaweed farm and the famous underground house. There are many small hotels and beach restaurants and the swimming and snorkeling is spectacular. We return around 2.30pm. Only AU$39pp (Min 4 Pax)

COUNTRYSIDE TRECKING

We take off early morning, fully equipped for trawl fishing, and motor along the coastline where we try for Tuna or Tumpac fish. The coastline has fantastic views. It’s a great morning out. Only AU$39pp (Min 3 Pax) COUNTRYSIDE TRECKING This trip is with our own guide and leaves the resort by transport to Kastala Village 18Km away. We start our track through beautiful rice fields & terraces and by small villages until we reach Tenganan Village, one of the oldest villages in Bali.
